About Me

Hi! I’m Victoria, a current Public Relations and Advertising MA student at USC Annenberg. I’ve learned so much during my time here so far and I’m looking forward to learning even more so I can start a career in PR!

I was born and raised in New York, which is where I still call home. I grew up on Long Island, completed my undergraduate degree in Poughkeepsie at Marist College, and have spent a lot of time in New York City. Getting to live in California has been such a great experience. I’m really enjoying exploring new places, making new friends, and getting to go to Disneyland all the time.

In addition to Disney, I love going to concerts (Taylor Swift is my favorite artist!), reading, and getting coffee! I think that it’s so important to enjoy and make time for the things you love, so I make sure that I’m never too busy to go to a concert, read a good book, or grab a coffee with a friend!

My education and professional background are both a bit unique. I’ve always had many interests, but I didn’t realize until later that my passion was in PR and Communications. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with minors in Music and Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. Upon graduating, I worked at an investment bank in technology. I always tried to tailor my experience to my interests, even spending time working with the Advertising team in addition to my full-time role. Eventually, I realized that if I wanted my career to change, I needed to make a change, which is how I ended up here!

So far, I’ve completed Public Relations and Advertising Fundamentals, Persuasive Writing, and Storytelling with Data Intelligence. This semester I’m taking Improvisational Leadership, Business and Economic Foundations for Communicators, Financial and Investor Communications, and Multimedia Content Creation for Brand Storytelling I (the class teaching me how to create this website!). I’m also participating in directed research and work at the USC Annenberg Center for Public Relations.

I’ve learned so much about PR already and there’s so much more to come. I’ll be sharing more of my work as I go so thank you for following along!
