That’s right! Puppy Bowl XX is HERE and we’re so excited for you to meet these talented pups. Tune in on Animal Planet on Puppy Bowl Sunday, February 11th starting at 2pm EST to catch the epic, twentieth anniversary matchup between Team Ruff and Team Fluff.
This season, 131 puppies will be competing for the illustrious Lombarki trophy, the highest honor in canine sports. The players come from 73 different shelters from across 36 states, a true insight into just how many puppies need homes all over the country.
Impact
The Puppy Bowl is all about fun, but it’s also here to raise awareness. There are lovable animals practically in our own backyards that deserve love, care, and a safe place to call home. During the broadcast, keep an eye out for heartwarming stories of puppies who found their forever homes and those who are still searching for that one family to call their own.
Highlights
In addition to our usual Puppy Bowl fun, Puppy Bowl XX has some extra special things in store! First, some of your Puppy Bowl favorites are returning the field to be honored and inducted into the Puppy Bowl Hall of Fame! Tune in to catch this auspicious ceremony.
Next, see more puppies on and off the field as we have expanded our puppy participation to include coaches, dancers, and even a puppy production team!
Lastly, and most importantly, we have six special needs puppies who will be competing in this year’s Puppy Bowl. These pups are here to show the world that just because they’re different doesn’t mean that they can’t compete like any other puppy. They’re a perfect reminder to everyone watching that special needs pets deserve their forever homes just as much and would be a great addition to your family.
